Quick story. Mallory been hunting stand overlooking corn field along a fencerow. She saw 0 deer this morning. We cut the tarsal glands from my buck this morning and ran a wire thru them and she took them with her and hung them above a scrape within shooting distance of her stand. At 625 I text her and said be ready they should start moving anytime. At 627 she called me all excited and said she shot one. Buck came in from behind her and got a whiff of the tarsal glands and she shot him at about 20 yards. Double lung just above the heart. He ran about 300 yards. Alot of blood along the way. Her first buck with archery equipment and its a dandy.
