Covid Buck

I’ll eventually get a story together but we got some better pics today before I took him to the butcher. Long story short, I had a cardiac ablation a few years ago. (Killed a decent buck that year TOO). This buck kicked my HR to 170 and I didn’t get it back under control until yesterday afternoon. I’ve been hunting this buck for 2 years and Saturday evening was the first time I ever saw him in person.

I had to double up on my metoprolol. And relax for a couple days. The Covid set it off and it affected my 02 level last week which was the main reason I was admitted to the hospital.
