Daycare and the gym are allowing those who have been fully vaccinated to wonder around without a mask. Guess who got "vaccinated" yesterday.

Makes no sense.

Vaccinated. - Capable of catching and spreading covid

Unvaccinated. - Capable of catching and spreading covid.

Since the science doesn't make sense I couldn't figure this out. The government is trying to use CDC guidelines to make masks a social pressure scarlet letter. Wearing a mask has nothing to do with catching it or transmitting it because the virus doesn't stop either, but rather it's a visual identifier that you're one of "those people". It didn't make sense to me until I realized that workplaces and others could ask for proof of a vaccine, and anyone without one has to wear a mask. Basically if a persons workplace requires vaccination proof to walk around the office without a mask, then the people with a mask are going to be viewed differently. People will feel pressured to get the vaccination because maybe their boss, or VP, or Director doesn't have to wear a mask. They may be in a conference room and the people who aren't "team players" will be easy to recognize. The CDC is trying to make it a social scarlet letter.

Definitely felt that here, in fact was told if I was so worried about getting it again here at work that I should go get it. The owner already did and doesn't give a shit about personal space now.

One of the workers at the gym, who knows my stance on all of this, asked me: "What would you say to someone if they called you out on it...?" My response: "If they are vaccinated, and it works like they proclaim, they shouldn't be worried about me... correct?"
