Coyotes 2013

About 2 minutes tops. He went down in about 5 seconds. These air rifles today are Bad Ass! Soon as it warms up a little, I'm going to do a descent review of this thing and show you how good the groups are. They are impressive!
 
Got another one tonight. This one was mean as hell! Air Rifle Settled Him Down.

Mine is a RWS Diana 34. 1000fps. Just open sites but have no problem drilling squirrels with it. I shoot the RWS pellets but have wanted to try some of the GAMO hunting pellets.
 
I got some pellets coming, if your's is a .177 I'll send you some. Reviews say these are the ones! We'll see.

I have some penetrator pellets coming I ordered. If I get one when they get here, I'm gonna shoot one in the head. Hollow points will stun a coyote, but doesn't put them down completely.
 
Do you or any others use a catch pole at all? My neighbor who is a pretty good trapper talked me into getting one when I was trapping a few years ago. Said he uses that, holds them down and then shoots them into the ear w/ cb's or even .22 shorts. Wonder if that pellet rifle would do the trick that way? I never caught a yote tho and the red fox that I did both got shot through the lungs because they were going nuts. I can only imagine trying to hold down a psycho yote to do that LOL!

I've never used one but my buddy does. All I know is that first yote I caught stayed still and let me whack it on the head with my hammer:) it was going nuts when I first got to it though.

I have a catch pole and use it to release non target animals.If the yotes are wrapped up I shoot them in the ear if not I have found the 22 between the eyes drops them like a bag of rocks.If you catch enough of them sooner or later you will get one that wont let you walk up and knock them in the head LOL.
