I did that. I was looking for the locals side, lol. How close is it to the stories they heard/told. Kinda like the local story of someone dropping in the little creek behind my house and floating to the gulf. I've never heard the same story twice but they are pretty close. Except a couple that are very unbelievable, lol.

Pretty accurate so far listened too the free episodes. 4 of them are free. But when it starts getting good that’s when you have to buy the subscription. I’ll do that when the wife and I can sit down and listen too it.
some of the stuff I remember. Some of the stuff I’ve heard about also.
Grew up on the west side of Youngstown. Grandparents lived on the north side. We never had any issues until the FBI showed ip and the mob went underground. Steel mills closed ip and it went from organized crime too unorganized crime. That’s when it got sketchy….
Had a neighbor down the street who was a bookie. We played with their kids and we never knew it until we got older and heard things. As far as we knew he owned a gas station. 😂

Wife finished it and gave me the reader’s digest version. How the FBI agent described Tafficants “horse farm” was a total embellishment of the actual farm. Had a buddy who worked for him back in the 90’s and took care of the grounds. He lived there in half of the house and the horse trainer lived in the other half. An old century farm house, and a barn out back with a fenced in pasture that wouldn’t stand out in the area where it was. Was on a state route not an old country road as was relayed.

Never let the truth get in the way of a good story
