Had a group of 4 come in earlier than I was planing for. Barely was even in the stand when I look up and saw a deer watching me range different shooting spots. D'oh... 2 does, 2 button bucks.
They still came into the corn but were on such high alert I had just watch. Finally tried to draw when they were filtering away, but got caught. They didn't completely bust out, but knew something wasn't right. Oh well...
And once again I gotta give credit to the scent smoker. Winds were SSW and these deer came from my NNE. Dead downwind the whole time. I'll give it another shot tomorrow.
