Dad’s Cabin Build

Dads had a dream since he bought his property back around 2004 to build a cabin up on top overlooking the Scioto River bottom. He is looking at a 2 story, 20x30 with a wrap around porch. Him and Mom poured the posts last fall and set the timbers and floor joists. Today him and mom are gonna put the subfloor down.

I’ll update as he sends me pics. They are essentially quarantined up the holler and I’m not going around them till this virus is over. Hopefully they don’t build it too fast and my brother and I can help them.

All generator. They are 63 and will work slow and methodical. Fortunate both my parents are healthy and active.

Dads got a 4wd Kubota and an old backhoe. He converted an old boat trailer to a beam hauler.... they are tough old birds for sure lol
