Time Out is down that way. That's one of my uncle Tom's spots. He lives on that road across from Hill's.
Yeah Time Out use to be L&M drive through back in the day. Back when there was high low beer. We went there because the guy didnt give a shit and sold us the high grade lol. Congrats to your dad!!!

Something else special happened while getting the butchering done. From the moment papa hung that buck up, my youngest kid Levi wanted to help.
He watched us and held bags for the buck. I tried to explain a few things while it went down. Once it was time to bust the doe down, he would have his chance to be a cutter. I have a pile of knives and he chose to use one of my favorites. Tom Brown, Tracker fit his hand and he helped skin.
He also cut one of the front legs off. Proud moment as my kids have never shown much interest in this besides running the grinder. He listened very well and did exactly what he was told. He hung out with the boys until dad started getting real buzzed up and the radio went up. At that point I told him it was time to go inside and he went in without a fuss.
