Damned raccoons

It's not legal to relocate raccoons. They must be euthanized or released on the same property it was caught on. Applies to pretty much any critter that you can be legally trapped. The ones you can relocate, beaver, groundhog and muskrat, need landowner permission to relocate. Good luck getting a landowner to let you release a groundhog on their property
This , although i do know a few people id like to set these all free on lol. That's why I have to dispatch them. Im partial honestly I grew up hunting them religiously with my uncle . He was top of state for years and competed in the world hunt every year. That man taught me so much as a kid , his trophys that line his garage walls are a sight to see. Something that used to be so common and popular among hunters now long gone..

My last coon dog I owned was out of his breed. Had it with me during the military in north Carolina. Was lucky enough to find a local die hard fellow coon hunter down there that would house my girl when I was on deployments. 4 months after I moved back she was stolen. Working at the asphalt plant I came home late one night to a closed an latched kennel with the lead an collar wrapped up nicely sat by her food dish. It killed me and I hated coming back here for that . Bugged me for awhile.

I've since only been coon hunting 3 times and was with my uncle just to show my son what it was all about... so as much as I hate these ferocious trash bandits it still gets me every time I pull the trigger. Reminds me of so many memories I used to love that are long an gone.

Anyhow that doesn't cover up the manacing damage they cause and I still feel it's right dispatching them.
