Dead ash and strong wind advisory

this is a very real danger, folks. be wary on these super windy days if there are lots of standing dead ash where you hunt. every time I go to some woods another tree is down, the rain of large branches never seems to stop.
 
Yeah, I've heard more trees blow down this year then anytime in years past.... good thing I was lucky to not be too close to them....

I don't like hunting pines in high winds either, too shallow of root system for this dude!
 
Thought about this over the weekend with all that wind down there. Was glad there weren't any around but I sure was double checking the trees.
