Yeah but thankfully I have 98% more than my dad did at my age lol oh well if it goes it goes, my wife hates the beard, lol might keep it longer

Hahahah! Funny how that works sometimes.

Question for you regular beard growers: I generally trim mine up and it never fills in. It looks more groomed and professional this way. My wife hates it because she says it is prickly. I haven't trimmed this one up since my brother's wedding in early October. She said it is soft and likes it. Is this normal? Do they generally get softer as they get longer? To me it seems more course to the touch.

I must add: Very impressive CJD!

ya. its gotten kinda knurly...:smiley_beard:
I kept a shaved line at the top and bottom but never trimmed the beard as a whole.
The crazy thing is all the hair below my jaw line wants to curl into these little clusters. Its never done that before...:smiley_chinrub:
This was just after taking a lap on the 4 wheeler.

Started mine the beginning of Sept..Other than the occasional neck or cheek trim,I won't touch it..I do comb and oil it daily, because its the only way for me to keep it tamed down a bit...My wife prefers me to have a beard versus clean shaven

I shaved my white trash sorry attempt of a beard today. It was bringing me bad luck. I feel like a new man. I will have good luck now. I really am jealous of everyone on here who can grow a beard.

Aswome beards a growing ! Phil, they will get softer as they grow longer. Just like your wife's armpits would grow softer with length, but don't tell her to try it.....lol

My wife shaves her pits Kevin. That would be crossing the line. Now her legs in the winter. . . .all I am saying is I am thankful she is a redhead with fine leg hairs and not too many of them. Yuck. Ewww. Gag. lol
