I've had great results with the Trophy Rock and a mineral block from Tractor Supply. Some of my deer prefer the TR and some prefer the block from TS. Using a variety is a good idea.

I use something similar to jesses mix. I use 2 bags of trace, 1 bag of salt, 1 bag of dical, mix in a couple bags of deer cane and some dried molasses and boom. Tons of deer on cam and they are getting some of the minerals they need.

I start cutting back when they slowly stop using it into October. Trail cam surveys start showing less and less use usually after their velvet is off.

Yep they mostly use it while developing racks, and post rut along with food plots trying to replenish body weight.

I never let my mineral site run dry. I always have a TR in place and parts of a 50# TS block there also. Deer will use the site year round, but Sept thru Jan is the slowest period.

I usually stop in September. Their real cravings for it are usually over by then and there is enough residual to last them over the winter if they do want it.

Yep once the acorns start dropping they loose interest for awhile.
