Looking into getting a dehydrator for jerky, fruit ,have a cabelas card what brands do you like use ?

@Redneckfucker has a real nice one. We use or pellet smoker but have one of those old white ones that works. Probably 15 years old or more. Might of been a wedding gift actually. So maybe 18 years old.
Dave, you mean one of those stackables ? I have one as well, haven't used it in years , but I liked it. I wonder if they even make 'em anymore ....

I have one of those white stackable dehydrators…got it at Walmart. They still have them and carry the seasonings/cures also. I used a jerky gun and deer burger. Comes out pretty good.

I have a Presto stackable. I just set out Burger this morning to thaw so I can make jerky tomorrow. It works great.

You can but I never have. My only complaint is they don’t hold enough. I always thaw too much and have to borrow Tyler’s.

Rotate the trays every 90 minutes on the one I have. Just to make it more even on the drying. Like Dave we got ours for a wedding present back in 99 and it still works great.
Just upgraded mine from a $15 off-brand from Wally World to an LEM stainless steel 10 tray model. I'll be able to break it in this weekend and will share my results. Should nearly triple my production capacity and will take a bit less time. Plus I can use the trays on the smoker if I choose to do it that way. I always upgraded my jerky gun to an LEM Jerky Cannon after breaking my cheaper plastic gun. I have well over 200#s of ground venison and need to get it gone. Jerky will be a good way to do that. I also picked up the silica dry packs and resealable vacuum bags for packing everything up. I plan on watching football and making jerky this weekend!
