I feel like a good deer story, but don't want to beat a dead horse. I know some of you are what I call the "new guard" from OS. Do most of you guys know the story with that deer or was that before your time? I'm always happy to talk about that deer if someone wants me too! ;) LOL!!!

I bring it up because someone asked about him the other day that did not know the story and I wasn't sure who all knew my white whale story...

You need to kill a big deer this year so you have something else to reminisce about.....

But I know what you are feeling Jesse..... I like to think back what it was like just out of high school and what all that young PUNTANG tasted like back then!!!!!

Those were the days....those were the days......

It jus like the deer magazines ..... recycle the same articles over the years....kinda fun to pick up a 10 yr old Field an Stream an see they was writin bout most of the same stuff they was years ago...cept they weren't kissin the scent loc ass back then :smiley_bril:
Carry on BR....tell your story again an we can get misty eyed wif ya...PS...the story don't end with his prickture on a coffee cup :smiley_blackeye:

Sure as hell didn't. And it wouldn't have even if he were on the wall. What a tool! Dang...
 
Jesse- Darn good story. It was like you wrote another chapter every day on OS while the Deuce chase was going on. Just kept building until the unexpected and twisted ending.
 
The legend of Deuce is what got me hooked on OS and now the more refined (?) TOO. From a thousand miles away, my brother and I went through that chase with you and then got kicked in the stomach with you at the end. It is a great great story. Maybe I'll make a TOO shirt that says "I'm here because of Deuce," or "Who dropped a Deuce?"...I've got to work out the wording.
