Welp.... Saw 2 small bucks today. We left around noon due to the light activity. I drew back on one to simply fill my tag, but about 3 steps shy of clearing a cedar, it got skiddish and backed out.

This was a great trip none the less. I would definitely return to this land. There are plenty of deer there and I saw no other hunters in the area we were.

I plan on making the out of state DIY hunts a regular occurrence. I'm going to begin thinking and researching the next one!

This hunting stuff is addicting.... Like any of you didn't know that!
