It was a story on the NBC nightly News last night. Sounds like there was a pow-wow with over 100 mayor's and municipalities. Confirms what we are reading in this thread. Big drones. SUV sized. Different variations. Iran mother ship was mentioned then waved off of incorrect by the government. Local PDs have been launching their own drones to see what is going on. No luck intercepting one yet. Spotted in 10 counties. Areas include Trump's golf course and Pickatinny Arsenal. Govt has no clue who.they belong to but we are safe. Huh?
I do not like this idea for heavily populated areas. Those heavy chunks of lead gotta come back down.

So 12 news didn't shed any new light on this bullshit.... With numerous airports in the metro area it's only a matter of time before we have a midair collision with one of these drones. I constantly have planes coming in over my house headed for Newark Airport.... The sky's over Northern New Jersey are very congested... It's amazing that we can go to Mars and get a soil sample but cannot identify these drones flying several hundred feet above us... Someone better wake up...

Just can't believe someone hasn't figured out where they are being launched from, especially if from land. Or for that matter where they landed. I take it our capabilities for tracking flying objects diminishes once they are below a certain height?

One rpt. said a state police helicopter encountered one and decided to leave the area fearing for their own safety... REALLY ... Why not follow it to see where it lands???
I just saw that .....what a crock .....
. If they're as big as being reported, couldn't air traffic control be of assistance ?

This story is fascinating to me. I don't understand why the United States of America either really doesn't know or unwilling to share with us what's going on. How can it be that we don't have the ability to track them back to the source! Maybe we need to ask Elon to help! The people in charge of protecting us must be some of the most incompetent people to ever serve our country! What would happen if we came under attack tonight?

It's like the main story on every network... Even our governor wants one shot down... Our current administration is out to lunch... Just like covid they have their heads up their ass...
We are so so vulnerable right now! No leadership at any level!!! There’s nobody in the present administration doing a thing!!! It’s like after they lost the election they shut it down and don’t give AF about doing their jobs or this country! People actually voted for her/them!!!! This isn’t the lamest of all lame duck presidents!!! This old duck done flew south and took that cackling raven with him!

I'm honestly more worried about what's going on behind closed doors that nobody's noticing because everyone is tied up over this drone ordeal. Typical government move.
