Yeah i have always felt the government always let you keep just enough of your pay so you wouldn't revolt regardless of what party was in control - wtf

Yep, up too this point I agree with that sentiment. Thats probably going too change with all the free stuff these socialists are talking about....

Yeah i worked two jobs at one time in my life - in 1959 i earned $2.83 a hour as a railroad brakeman - can you believe that - and that was good pay -

don't know about the rest of you, but I'm going to keep living my life as I see fit and not waste any more of my time or energy on all this drama. my guns are already loaded. my desire and ability to earn a living as a tradesman is already waning, so I'm thinking about going into politics...

I'm blaming a labor union for that shit. :ROFLMAO:
Well i was a union railroad worker and the Company didn't give one fuck n shit about your safety - the union was very instramuntal in makeing the job as safe as possible - it was a dangerous job - and the union looked out for the individual - theres much more but wtf

There was a time that was true, Dan. Then lawyers came in droves and class action suits along with government agencies forcing businesses too knock off their BS With safety training and programs too minimize the accident rates.
After all that what’s a union too do when their main focus was protecting the worker from being killed by the company? They still need too be involved in something so they can appear too be earning their keep.

relax, Geezer. I come from a long line of railroaders and union members. I was a even a Teamster myself and got to see a little of how crooked they are from the inside. Back when you were a brakeman organized labor had real purpose. those days are long, long gone, and politics have corrupted the usefulness of organized labor. The NEA, CEA, and OEA doesn't sign the paychecks for their members, but they damn sure take their share of the paycheck every two week, but never seem to be able accomplish anything meaningful for their rank and file members. unions have outgrown their purpose and have rendered themselves useless. my wife hasn't seen a legitimate pay increase in nearly 20 years, pays more and gets less health insurance with every new contract. to hell with labor unions.

My wife and I have been members of teachers union during our teaching career - you would have to be on the inside to believe the work enviroment - i will take the union any day - uhm sure Jamie has something he may say about this but i will say teachers are far better off with unions - you had to be their from the start - you get the good - bad - ugly just like in politics - for me the good out weighted the rest

Yep unions are just like welfare and politics. They where all started with the best of intentions, but over time have been manipulate and twisted to where they are corrupt and no longer a true benefit to the people.
