Eviction Notice Served

The neighbor called me last week to tell me about a groundhog in his barn. He said to keep an eye open and kill it the first chance you get. Well, yesterday evening, he made an appearance by the soy bean field. So, I did the right thing and served him with an eviction notice of a 55 gr. Hornady V-Max, from my Savage Axis ll XP, in 22-250.

Those V-Max bullets are down right nasty!!! That’s what I used in my .243 and they didn’t move far after getting hit if at all…..

I think I'm up to 10+ this year on the farm

Primarily 22LR, though a few have been with the 350legend, 5.56 77gr Sierra matchkings and one with a 45-70 (dumb enough to show up in the next field while my brother was sighting in his rifle)

Glad you're keeping them trimmed up.

I used to use a 22 LR, but my 22-250 is slightly quieter and a whole lot more deadly.

All but the 45-70 are suppressed

I use 75 gr. V-Max bullets in my Savage Predator 243, for coyotes and you are correct...DRT.
