I like the trades idea, however I think it should be 2 years before going pro.

Personally I think the whole college athletic thing should end and we should create clubs or farm systems that offer some classes, trades, etc. This system would be much more effective than the current high school, college sports system we have. We will never see this and we would lose our sense of community we get through college and high school sports, but from a business aspect its much more logical.
