worst cat experience i had was with one of the neighbor's cats. It had been hit by a car and wandered around for most of the summer with it's intestines hanging out. Can't believe it was still alive to be honest. Neighbor couldn't do it herself. Asked her son and he never did it. I didn't want to walk over there just to kill it. However, once it started hanging out on my property the situation changed. You see, everytime it sat down it left poop piles. It sat on my tractor seat behind the barn. Had to clean up poop. One summer night my son left the back window of the jeep open. Yep. Next morning there was poop on his carseat. Not cool. I finally talked to the neighbor and she said she had been trying to get someone to put it down for awhile. I took care of the matter. In hindsight, i probably should have done so much earlier. That poor cat suffered a long time. Now here is the bad part of this story. My son (maybe 4-5yr old at the time) was talking to the neighbors as they were loading up the car. They were heading to make arrangements for granny's funeral. garrett says "my daddy killed your cat because it pooped on my car seat." i was ready to crawl into a hole. I felt terrible. Not terrible that i put a cat out of it's misery, but terrible at the timing of my son. They laughed about it. Not at the cat, but at the innocense of kids. He didn't know any better. Never an ill word between us over the incident. She was thankful.
