Be safe out there. One of my track/cross country teammates/neighbor/buddy worked PD outside of Atlanta after serving in the Army. Lost his life in the line of duty. Foot chase took them across a 4 lane as he wrestled a guy to the ground. Hit by a car. Can't remember if he had just had a baby or the baby was born just after his death. Either way, his baby is growing up without a father. You know the dangers can come from many different directions. You still put in the effort to join up. I applaud you for it. Just do your best to keep safe out there. Hopefully you aren't close to Atlanta. I don't recall which part you are in but I thought it was Georgia.
