You hunting mahoning, Trumbull or Columbiana county? Southern mahoning county and lots of Columbiana county bunnies were chased by us and the girls...

Perfect amount of snow to spot them and plink them in the head!

I had a spot outside of Genoa Ohio I used to hit when it was like this. Spot the brown spot, find them in the scope and plink them. Get your limit and never move until you went to collect them. Good times back then! Back when we had more small game to chase and more properties to do so. I was lucky enough to grow up at a good time. Land and game plentiful and free for the taking.

The area he’s at, back when I was a kid we did the same. I lived in town and we’d spot/stalk with pellet guns. Today, they’d throw us in juvie and throw away the key...

The good ole days... Back when boys could be boys and kids were just being kids.

I had a farmer get ahold of me back when I was still in high school. “Hey boy, I have a bunch of rabbits in a pen. How about I release them Friday and you and a buddy come shoot them Saturday?” He ran the bean field that he released them in and we just followed him and blasted as many as we could.

It was a few years that went by before I realized he didn’t even have any rabbit pens. Old dude got us about 3 years in a row.

went out Thursday (no School) by myself behind the house and killed one brush beating, Friday (no school again) walk about 3 miles brush beating alone and got skunked seen plenty of sign. Today went out with a good buddy who brought is pup he's training kicked up 4 pups couldnt straighten out the rabbit, fun though.

I have 2 dogs and couldn't buy a track! I would have sworn that with the snow it was going to be a good day. They ended up jumping 2 and the first one straight to the hole and the second 1 made 1 circle and then to the hole. I am hunting in Mahoning county. I grew up here and moved to NC 26 years ago and this past September we moved back! I lived outside of Charlotte.

Had a somewhat better day this past Saturday. Although the dogs were having trouble tracking, the snow was like ice crystals, they jumped 5 or 6 and they ran pretty good circles and we ended up only taking 2 home. It was 11 degrees when we went out...
