Heard the same 2 this morning had him at 75 yard and he wouldn't close the distance strutted for what seemed like 25 min ...broke out of strut and walked off dam the luck going to give it another try in the morning heard 3 others way off there gobbling better than I thought they would be ...
That'll piss ya off! Sounds like it's only a matter of time before your carrying one out though!

My dad shot one this morning.....as for me I had one come in and skirt the decoy he wasn't even interested he passed by at what I thought was 50yds so took a shot and it was 58 yds and all he did was run away that fugger ....no gobbling on roost he came in around 830 then heard one around 10 he only gobbled 4 times and that was it.....here is a pic of dads

Shot one this morning gobble 3 times on roost then spotted him out at 80yds gave him a feeding call and scratch the leaves then shot him in the face lol
