Nice write up.awesome buck...Nothing to be ashamed of. 95% of people would kill to have that deer on their wall....Every deer has a story...Whether its previous history or just making "history" by releasing the arrow...In the end.....its the memories that last forever.... Thanks guys! It is funny how my season went this year. Had over 30 hours in the tree time before I saw my first buck, a small 6 or 8 point just out cruising. Had scrapes opened up but seems most of the more mature buck movement was at night while the younger bucks started moving last week during the daylight. I was feeling it was just a matter of time for me to get within bow range of a shooter with the amount of doe activity I was seeing and knowing the bigger bucks had to be keeping tabs on them.
Yesterday's hunt just kinda blindsided me by happening so quick. I'd take that every year if the good Lords willing.lol
