Firearm while bowhunting

4. Carry a handgun while hunting deer
during the early muzzleloader season,
the statewide muzzleloader season,
and archery season; have more than
one firearm while hunting deer; carry
a handgun being used during hunting
in a concealed manner. Except as noted
in number 11 under “A Deer Hunter Can
Do the Following”.

11. Concealed Carry: A person possessing a
valid Concealed Carry license may carry
their concealed weapon while hunting,
but it may not be used to shoot, shoot
at, or kill any wild animal. For more information
go to ag.state.oh.us.
 
This is an issue with trappers. If they carry a handgun to dispatch animals they catch it has to be open carried, it can't be concealed.
 
I have commented that it sucks to carry a nice pistol hunting and have completely chang how you carry it just because it starts to rain or itgets colder. The state already is ok with me carrying ANY pistol concealed what is the problem when i hunt?
