Don't sweat it man. Air it out and let em get use to it. The first year I set mine up against a dead fall but didn't brush it in much. The deer eye fucked for a couple of weeks (as seen on trail cam picts;day and night) but because of no bad experiences happened while it was "seasoning" in the woods, it worked out great. By smoke pole season, I was snug as a bug in there...
Only problem I had was I didn't stick the muzzle out the window far enough... When I shot, the screen I had folded half down ended up getting a golf ball size hole burned in it. lol

Best of luck this season.

as long as you have it out several weeks before hunting you will be fine (with or without brush). My blinds are not brushed in that well and the deer never seem to mind them. If you put one out and hunt out of it the same day yes that is a problem. However, someone could put one out now and be fine by season.
