Fishers making a comeback

Last year in western NY I had two fishers come into calling during our may turkey season. My buddy in NH said the DNR released them there for peckerpines and when they were gone the next thig to disappear were turkeys. He claims most toms wont gobble on the roost and even putting birds to bed is a crap shoot as the fishers work birds at night.

I can say in SE Oh my cams go turkey blank for 5-7days after RobertCat or General Tsao (wife named the bobcats) visit the foodplots so maybe it is the same this way.

North Coshocton County Black Bear

A youngish bear moved into the area (Millcreek Township) in late August, pics thru early November. Only tore up one feeder - can't complain to much as it was really great to have a bear on the property. First time on that ground since they were extirpated from Ohio in 1850, Bobcats came back...
