Well hes right.... You probably can count the number of members on here that are over 65 on one hand.... I might change my screen name to Fossil... But back to the vest... I was wondering earlier today how to take a picture with the timer I figured it out earlier and my vest hanging on a branch made for a good place to set phone and I wanted the picture to show the treebark camo.... Then back on it went as you dont walk around in the woods opening day of gun in Jersey without it.... Hey I wanna make 90.....

Thanks Brock... I wasn't sure he'd show back up but had pics of him in early Oct. so that's pre-rut and was hoping I'm in his home area and he left in search of does... Watch a big bear show up now... Gonna give him a pass and not disturb area... I want this deer...

Slept in, gotta get some Xmas stuff ordered and PC was acting up last night... Since I'm home might go to Dicks and get a cell link for that camera... But my Verizon phone sucks there so that's iffy... But Verizon sucks anyway... Used to have good service at home, now I gotta go to other end of house to use phone...

Not sure about double barrel shotguns... But still a few outhouses around with a sears catalog in them... And the sears catalog wasn't for reading... Could you imagine... Middle of January and Giles had to go outside to take a dump, then rip a page of the sears catalog out to wipe his now freezing ass....

Day two in the books.... Hunted the afternoon and saw nothing.... This is getting old.... Although I'm chasing a nice buck this is the worst season I've ever had.... Due to no mast crop this year most bears are in for the winter.... When it takes more energy to find food than they get out of it, they go into hibernation... Well there has been no food for months.... Only 20 some bears were harvested yesterday on a day that sees the most hunters out... Today unfortunately a hunter was shot and killed....

Damn that’s not good. What’s wrong w people? I know it happens every year including before I was hunting. You’d think w the aid of hunter education, that would help.

Stayed home today... Needed a break...As for yesterday's tragic accident, what I've heard is a father and his son were hunting and the kid was behind his father tracking a wounded deer when the kids gun went off killing his father.. Guy was a police officer two towns over from me and was 38 years old... May he rest in peace and God Bless his family... Such a shame. Feel so bad for the kid, he'll live forever with this horrible accident weighing on him... Such a shame when accidents are totally avoidable... Alot of guys could not hunt with me, cause no matter how often you've hunted with me I'm always double checking you on your safety and whether your gun is loaded or not, when it should be unloaded... If this is too much for anyone to deal with, then go get a new hunting partner, I'm fine hunting alone... And I never let anyone walk in back of me...
