Could be refueling. The KC-135 is a tanker. That’s it’s main mission. That’s also for the KC-10.

I knew they were refueling plans. I just didn't know since both were in close proximity and also had Romanian aircraft in the air too. Didn't know if they were working together or not.

They have been refueling nato a/c all along

They're there every day. Usual 2 of them somewhere in polish airspace. Like J said they'll refuel NATO aircraft.

130’s have a tanker as well. All the non KC-130’s can load up a fuel bladder as well too refuel ground forces. We did that a lot at the outposts in Iraq.
