I am on top of a hill and no where close to a river. Yes that is the website that I use. I use the USGS one as well to look at current conditions. I often use it for fishing purposes. If you look at it before you go after a while you can tell from the water height and volume if the stream is likely to be muddy or not.

Alert: Flash Flood Watch issued September 09 at 4:07AM EDT until September 10 at 8:00AM EDT by NWS Wilmington

Raining like a SOB here @myplace still. In fact, it's what woke me up this morning. The pounding of rain on the roof of the house.

Hope all of you 'TOO'liens and your families & friends are doing okay this morning. We've received a bunch of rain the last 24 hours that's for sure.

Stay dry out there fellas.

Take care!

Our creeks have already receded, but still 'TOO' deep to cross in my pack boots most areas.

I believe we're out of the clear though and should be good to go.
