You do not need a Florida hunting license to hunt feral hogs on public land. But if you plan to hunt anything else during small game season you will need an out of state license.

Tou sure about that? I seem to remember there's a caveat. Like that doesn't apply to NR. Even still it's cheap if we do. I always buy one, I'll have to look.

Last I checked, management stamp and with the new season upon us now, you need the quota as well. That’s it.

I believe the exemption is hog season. I think even on federal land all you need is a quota permit. I will call Andrew today(the man that runs the refuge) and get a solidified answer.
