Oh yeah, forgot to make that clear....There was nothing wrong with the shell. It was the idiot operator of the shotgun. I tested the gun 5 times after the hunt. It worked every time. In and effort to be super quiet, I just plain didn't rack the shell into place with enough force to make it work. What a moron....

If it makes you feel any better, I laid in a blind in Missouri on a $1,200 snow goose hunt during the best hour of the entire trip working on a shotgun that is so easy to take apart (once you know how) a 5 year old could do it and never fired a damn round! It was all operator error TOO!!!

Hell of a hunt you had brother! Glad to see it all worked out!!!
