Found 1st possible shoter

There really isn't any "natural" funnels around. Just farm land. I think he beds close. There is about a 30 acre field that is over grown (6-7ft tall) that is about 30 yds from the scraps

Field edge scrapes will get hit with daylight if it's a secure place. Scrapes in the timber, especially in thick, safe areas, will get visited far more often with shooting light. At least that's what I've noticed... If you have one in the thick stuff that is in a natural funnel, all the better.

Like Brock said if they are in cover or along funnels they will get hit during the day,i have passed on several bucks over the yrs hitting scrapes between 10am and 3pm on all day sits.
Alot of guys will never see this cause by then they are at home relaxing till their evening hunt.

Yeah, most days I'm that guy. :)

If there is over grown crp field I would sit on the edge of it with the wind at my advantage wth a set of binos. I would glass all night until I found him. Adam hayes is huge on hunting over grown crp fields......

My best stand is on the inside corner of a CRP stand. It's a spot I could probably kill one every year from. Unfortunately it takes a straight NW to hunt it and shots are limited. If I could build a blind in the corner another 15 yards towards the field, I'd have the best stand of my life. But I'm out of real estate where I'm at now...
