One of the girls on my 4H rifle team is setting up a CZ rifle with aperture sights. She needed to raise the front sight .250". Her Dad asked me for some help so this is what I made.
Thanks Jim, life has forced me to be a jack of all trades. Plus I've been fortunate to know some really skilled people that were kind enough to teach me just a little of what they knew.
It's a little hard to measure the width to cut because of the angles. I didn't have the rifle so I cut the pin ~.015" too wide. Told the father he could file it to fit, he's a millwright so he'll have no problems.
