Frustrated with the haters

Thanks for this thread, Phil. Really gives me some hope for our future reading all these replies. "Pay it forward" ain't that right, Jesse...

You're welcome Dave. Sometimes I post something looking for answers. Sometimes I post something to make people think. Sometimes I am simply looking for other viewpoints. In this case, it sounds like I am not alone in my thinking. That in itself is comforting. If I post something and other people are benefiting from it as well. . .It makes me smile. It is NOT all about me. We are all in this together. It's good to know there are others who feel the same way.

That time of year again people doing anything and everything to kill "their" trophy. I'm sick of my neighbors the farmers who's grounds I've hunted on for 27 years getting directly lied to and giving lines of bullshit by quote on quote trophy deer hunters. It takes a serious fuckbag of a person to get free hunting permission for a shitload of ground to not be able to follow one rule, "don't go to one spot
, it's for our family "..... multiple big farmers around the area have closed hunting down due to people that can't have enough self control to follow landowners rules. I just don't get it. I just wanted to rant because I talked to my farming neighbors today, and they said we are sick of this bullshit and it happens every year.....yet they are still gracious enough to let others hunt for now.....I can't stand lying. I don't understand why these trophy hunters that bend every rule in the book just don't go shoot them at night if they have to have their trophy when they aren't playing by the rules during the day anyway. Rant over for now. It's bring back old thread week started by Dave.....

Good stuff. Grew up in a rural farm in the 70's permission was walk up ask, maybe with a ham or promise of a rabbit or pheasant if I got lucky, many were farms where I worked as a hand.

The bane of humanity has been fueled by social media. From time before pagers, even answering machines to drones.

These aren't new, as old as thought or even feels in the deep parts of our ancient brians. Some folks, thoughtful and aware work through these as you presented in your first post. Others... don't.

Character is defined by actions. Free will allows the choice.

All one landowner ever wanted was the liver from the deer. You couldn’t have put a bigger smile on his face handing him a one hundred dollar bill when he got the liver lol.
