FS and FB's videos and pics of 2015-2016 season

Ron has pulled a few cards lately and found some decent bucks. Nothing earthshattering has turned up yet though. Several older deer were harvested in this area last year though. Still a couple shooters among his pull IMO.

Due to my quad accident and injuries I've been unable to pull any of my cards lately. Looking forward to the day I can though cuz it's been about 3 weeks since my last pull. Might get out sometime this week.

I've been champin at the bit to pull my cards since they've soaked for a month and guys have been posting some really nice deer. Well with the help of my daughter Karissa we walked the mile loop taking our time so I didn't over do it and we didn't booger up the deer. The crop is standing corn and as far as I know we didn't hear or see any deer the whole time so that's good! One cam had nothing, but between the other 3 I had 317 videos to go thru. Long story short, the cam expected the least from had the biggest bucks on and the other 2 I had high expectations for had mostly does and smaller bucks. The one at the creek even had two little boys waving and making faces in front of my cam...little fuggars! They were trespassing too but at least they left my cam alone.

Here are some smaller bucks. The wider taller one is done with not much potential and the other one is still growing.

The next pics will be the nicest buck I've gotten so far this season. I would not pass on this deer if given a shot. There's a larger buck running on this farm last season but I've not got him on cam yet. I also believe this next deer is in the same blood line with the deer I named Splits and harvested back in 2011. The brows are very much alike and frames are very similar. If so, he's either 4 or 5, IMO.

I have a ton of video of this deer over the span of this past month and it was all daylight. My video setting was set for every 1-2 minutes but he sure loved this mineral lick! Lol

Hoping he sticks around but he looks like he's all done growing but we'll see!
 
To say this lit my fire is a understatement!!! I'd rather see Karissa get a crack at him but with her going to college and my injured right shoulder still on the mend a lot is still in the air....but this is motivation! That's for sure!!! Lol
