FS and FB's videos and pics of 2015-2016 season

Wow, just goes to show how slow it's been in front of our cameras this year. Between us both we have a few real nice looking deer showing up occasionally but nothing monsterous yet, not like we ever had though...lol

Anywho, here are a few of our latest pulls.








 
You guys have some nice deer on cam. I have faith the big boys will show up at the right time. Based on past experiences, all it really takes is a good whining, and the deer tend to be sucked to you guys like magnets!

J, I figure he's in the 120's somewhere, prolly mid 120's. I actually hope he lives another year or two so I can see what that drop turns into but if Karissa gets a shot at him and wants to take it she's got the green light from me!

There are several older deer that I'm waiting on to show up where I spend the most of my time. Still wondering where Shank went off too?!? I hope she gets a crack at him as well. Lots of unknowns going into this season as normal, I'm very excited to say the least!

If things are dragging along I'll do what Greg suggested we do best....whine and bitch like a a mother fuggar!!!! LMAO

I probably don't even have a 180 inch buck living within 10 miles of me!!! UGH

J, I could be wrong but I figured him out like this:

Brows 4&3
G'2's. 8&8
G3's. 8&8
Beams 22&22
Mass/side 15&15
Inside spread 15
TOTALS 128 gross

At least that's how I see him. Until you get your hands on any buck it's hard to judge from just pictures. All we can do is estimate.
FWIW, what does help me guess tine length though is I imagine if I were to wrap my hand around each tine and make a fist snug to the beam and start stacking fist over fist till the tip I can get pretty close. My fist are right at 4" as most guys are I'd imagine.( well except Cottys, his look small wrapped around......huh....you know).......anywho that helps me on tine length. If there is much curl that has to be taken into consideration towards the + side as well. Beam length is by far the toughest to gauge. Just know that "most 140" to 150" deer are around 24-25" per side from my experiences. Anything 160" and up can be 25 to 30 plus. Mass on the other hand is usually 16-18 per side for 140-150 inch deer and 18-20+ for 160" and up.

The deer posted this morning with massive beams could be 20+ per side which is exceptional mass, IMO.

These are just some of my factors I use to help size up a deers rack.
