Fugg, Knee Surgery

Since it's a on the job accident the company should be concerned. I would go by when the doctor wants you to do it. I understand dedication to the job but there could be other complications the longer the surgery is put off. Good luck.

I actually damaged it when I was with another company working on the drilling rig. I should have reported it but working in the patch that would be the kiss of death and would have been let go. Since then I have a new job so I am sucking it up and dealing with it.

Thanks everyone for the well wishes.

Thanks, guess I will find out soon.

Put mine off till after deer season and glad I did too! One week after surgery I go see Doc and he says how you doing? This was our second knee together so we kind of know each other pretty well. I tell him I didn't even take the pain meds. again and used the 15' sticky ace bandage to raise the comb of my stock by 2".
He says I can do whatever I want but be smart. I only registered the first part. The next day I went out in the drive way to get some exercise shoveling snow and ice. In the middle of it I get this strange stabbing pain in my lower back and it wraps around my glutes (makes me sound like i'm in better shape then if I acknowledge my fat assets.) After a minute it subsides so a shovel just a little more... It was all I could do to get out of bed and crawl/walk to the bathroom like a hyena all tucked under for about 5 days! Boy am I glad I had the wisdom to save those opiates!

I hope you are doing as well as this 58 year old did, except don't do the stupid thing! It put my return to the bowling team back 2 weeks. Oh and do the exercises they have for you! Good luck good fortune and i'll say a prayer for you! Once you are out and about I'll buy you lunch at that diner on the west end of the square in Andover if you look me up here on the forum!
