fuggin ticks!

Pulled two off this past weekend while down at the farm. Lucky they were just crawlers at that point. Glad my son and wife didn't find any on them, generally find one or two each time we head out.

We stopped at a pond on AEP Sunday and my buddy was out fishing for 20 minutes. He pulled 45 ticks off him in the matter of minutes! He had 20+ on him at one time. It was pure insanity!

Wonder if he ran into a nest of them? Ticks were horrible in Virginia. I walked through a nest of baby ones once and was covered with them. I immediately blasted a water hose on my leg which got most of them off.

I told Dave a while back they was bad up here this year. I was fine as long as I was in the woods but, as soon as I hit any tall grass I had ticks on me. I have not been back out in a couple months because of the little fuggers. Most of the one property I hunt is overgrown pasture and you can bet your going to be pullin ticks off for hours after walking in that crap.

I thought after such a long and harsh winter they'd be few and far between but they seemed to have gotten worse! Wtf!!!!
