They are definately out. I saw about 10 in this old field by my house. City property though. They are nice and fat..
Seen a few on the way home.... looks like the .17HMR will be riding shotgun in the truck from now on.

Seen them out today all over the place. Sucks I was stuck in the work truck lol. Will start shooting them here soon before the weeds start growing too tall to see them.
That sounds just like what the doctor ordered. I could use me some spilled blood right now. Might go renew my license online in a minute.

Been out a couple times looking for the chucks and haven't seen a single one out where I hunt. I really haven't even seen any fresh holes yet either. Might be time to go look elswhere for um.

Thanks Red,..... I bet I saw close to 500 holes today walking the tracks!...Come on up and you can shoot all day if you sit along a track or ditch around here.
