Gonna be away mostly for awhile

Thanks everybody. Like I said Ill still be around. I dont hide things from him at all and always leave my bag, my phone and my comp window screen "available". Ill be on a little in the mornings when he is at work. You guys are a great bunch and I def want to bring him and a neighbor friend or two to the event. He wont join tho, He supprots my hunting fully but it just isnt one of his interests.....yet.

While we already realize this J, I am not sure someone that has different interests would feel the same.

Saddlepants- If nothing else, I think it would be great to show your husband this thread. He might be a little peaved at first if he feels it makes him look like he doesn't trust you or is a control freak. However, I think once he realizes we are just a bunch of online hunting buddies and nothing more (male or female), he will quickly realize he was quick to assume. Personally, I don't look down on him at all for it. You are a woman hanging out in a predominantly "man's world" with your hobbies. Add in the fact you said you were still newlyweds, and it seems fairly natural to see how it could get a guy worked up. Either way, have a wonderful Christmas with your Mom and husband.

He likes photography right? I've seen some amazing photographs of wildlife, sunrises, sunsets, and lots of other wonders of the natural world. maybe an "outdoor photography" forum is in order. That might spark his interest and be a reason to join. Heck, sounds like a good idea anyway.

Speaking from experience, making sacrifices is a key in any relationship, but it can also lead to a lot of resentment. hopefully sacrificing your time on here with some people that simply share the same interest will do, but if there is already jealousy and mistrust, it will just get focused on something else. I hope, in your case, I'm wrong.

I TOO feel like everyone else....You'll be missed but gotta respect you for doing what you feel is right. Doubt any one of us is going anywhere ~~ We're addicted to the sport if we admit it or not. Hope Your Holidays Are The Best Possible! Good Luck and Hope To See You Back (Regularly) soon. If it helps any, I do believe my Diane is about to join up also........
