Got the venerated old .22 Mag out when I saw one out in the far plots.

1. 165yds
2. 155yds
3. 45yrds

1 solid hit he was sitting in his hole, will try body recovery later today. ... as in look ans see if he's not more than a hands lenght in the hole. Found one rotting in the hole keeps other Ghog from using it for awhile.

Nice shooting! (y)
The only good g-hog is a dead g-hog. :sneaky:

I've owned several 22 Mag rifles, over the years and the most accurate one was a Henry. This kinda surprised me after owning a couple of Marlin bolt-actions and a Taurus pump-action. None of them were as accurate as the Henry.

Light drizzel brought them out last week. Saw a pic on my phone today, went and looked at the CampCam card, got it. Groundhog made it about 30'.. leaking good then down. About a .5 sec flight time, Hog is just to the right of the sign on the pine tree. ~ 200 yards. The .22 mag gets another notch.

Left it and a couple days later the feathered clean-up team was on it.
