Got the venerated old .22 Mag out when I saw one out in the far plots.

1. 165yds
2. 155yds
3. 45yrds

1 solid hit he was sitting in his hole, will try body recovery later today. ... as in look ans see if he's not more than a hands lenght in the hole. Found one rotting in the hole keeps other Ghog from using it for awhile.

Thx Brock, I use the small locust stumps in the pond to give me instant feedback on the holdover. The far plot, "Far Corner" is 195yd to two pines, 182 is a poke! My holdover is right about 18" at 195 with the CCI 2200fps 30gr HP.

Nice shooting! (y)
The only good g-hog is a dead g-hog. :sneaky:

I've owned several 22 Mag rifles, over the years and the most accurate one was a Henry. This kinda surprised me after owning a couple of Marlin bolt-actions and a Taurus pump-action. None of them were as accurate as the Henry.
