Heard even fewer shots this evening. Most of the shots I did hear were multiple shots in the same area, probably from drivers flinging lead at the same couple running deer. I am glad at the lack of shooting, but unfortunately I know that it only means lack of deer. Still not at "target" deer population goals yet though. Haha, what a crock.

I heard the 1st shot this morning at 6:57. I must say that i was impressed. Usually its more like 6:27 in these parts. Heard a fair amount of banging in the am and very few in the pm. Seemed very slow for opening day with the type of weather we had. Kind of confirmed my feelings on deer numbers in my area according to my sightings and camera pics.
