I asked about that. The dealer just raises the front end to get to the blades. It can't be any worse than dealing with dropping a deck, dealing w/ belts and pins and still having to block and wrench the blades off...
The last 5 mowers required laying down to get to the pins and/or release's anyway...
Guess I'm gonna find out. lol

Do you have a chainfall? That is what we use. Hook frame and lift. If no chainfall, do you have car ramps? If no car ramps, maybe a trailer with a ramp? We have changed flat tires on the front in the field by running front tire up on ramp with flat tire caster hanging off side of ramp to swap out a spare. You can do the same with a bent blade in a pinch. Easier with an impact wrench though. Just be sure to hand tighten the blade bolts and only snug them with the impact on lower poundage setting. I have had guys try to run blades on with an impact and strip threads.

Another tip: If you do not have a blade sharpener (and most people don't), take them to the dealer. If you can't justify spending $10-12 to have them sharpen blades, use a hand file. Guys using an angle grinder tend to take off too much metal and alter the angle to where they don't cut as well. The first several years I was in business I pulled blades daily and sharpened with a hand file. Served me well. For a home owner it wouldn't be terrible a few times a year.
