Well after a rough week of hunting I finally got it done. I spent most of the week hunting by our cabin and to say it was slow was an understatement. I hadn't seen a buck all week and very few deer. I finally had enough of sitting daylight to dark so I climbed down at 10AM and went to breakfast. In the early afternoon I headed back out and decided to go on Wayne National Forest where I had turkey hunted and there was a nice saddle with a couple of deep ravines that ran up to it. I was sitting in a hammock chair against a tree and about 3:30. I catch movement off to my right at 30 yards of this buck coming to me. As I was moving to get into position to shoot I hit something that made noise. The buck heard and and stopped and looked in my direction. He finally turned and started going quartering away. Hit a limb on the shot, but the arrow still did the damage.
