Grandfather's fishing poles

My uncle found two of my grandfather's fishing poles in his shed so he gave them to me. He died in '76 when I was three years old. The one on the left is a '70s Kmart special and the one on the right is a Bronson Green Hornet 2200 from '50-'56. He came to the US in '51. This is the one I will cleanup and repair so I can catch a carp with it. That was his preferred quarry.

Clean up the rod and reel
Replace the cork handle
Restring the guides
Use the original braid spooled in reversed. It's like new towards the spool.

She had baked on grease but it's lubed and assembled. The drag cap and spring are missing so I bought a parts reel off eBay.
