Keep bringing the smiles. Smiles for you, smiles for me, and smiles for many on social media. You're a great man.

Mike- with your tendency to do good work, have you considered rod/reel restoration as a side gig? I had the advantage of meeting restores of varied items many years ago. I mean absurd things, to me. But in each case there were wealthy collectors that could not wait to spend absurd amounts of money for just this sort of thing. I think for a man of your skills, this is one of those things that could turn a hobby into a steady income stream if you chose to do it. Decorative art or functional equipment, you could do either equally well I’m certain.

I haven't. I'm just a dabbler in different things. To be a good restorer it requires one to have a lot of patience, especially when dealing with valuable/complex items. I watch a few restorers on YouTube and some of the work they do is incredible.
