Old Scout (my dad) scored one today. We are still hoping to find Jagger, our main target on the private property we hunt, but this was a nice find. He just texted me the pic.

I meant to ask you what kind of walking sticks you all had at the hunt. I'm a big walking stick guy, but I have always just cut mine from something in the woods. But those were slick!

Went out after work on Wednesday after giving my team a rare day off. We didn't find any sheds, but I did come across several locations with a variety of bones. It seems we had alot of late season casualties on the private property. From coyotes? Maybe...

I walked up on one particular bone pile that had everything, minus meat and fur, still intact. It was from this little fella.

We have been getting more and more pics of coyote on camera. That's obviously not good. I'm considering snares, but I worry about the landowners dog wandering off.

I'm going to try to head out this afternoon if the weather permits to try one more time for Jagger's sheds. We have looked almost everywhere, but they have to be there!

Well, I give up on finding Jagger's sheds. I covered just about every part of 140 acres I could a few different times and had no luck. I know the general area he dropped after having pics of him carrying and then a few days later not carrying. I thought for sure we'd find them.

Did come across this rub I had never seen before.

Hey Mike, I know how hard you've been looking for those sheds of Jagger, but there prolly laying off that 140 acres. It's amazing to me, how far these deer travel each day and night. So, when you have him on camera one day and the next couple of nights that "fuggar" could have dropped them a mile away. Don't give up, but you may want to expand your search area. Good luck!

That sucks Mike but if you can expand your search area like Ron suggests it would increase your chances. Good luck if you can.

I'll see what I can do. On the east side of the property, if I expand, I cross a busy county road. He may cross there, not sure.

Off to the south or north I run into houses.

To the west is a hunting club and other private property. I may be able to venture a little. Lol
Hopefully I have time!
