Great handgun stopping power article

I will admit, I do not read many of these articles. They send a lot of emails out and I tend to ignore many of them. I happened to read this article and found it quite interesting. It is a compilation of data from 1800 shootings with different gun calibers. I think anyone that has a CCW or has ever wondered if they were carrying the right gun or even wondered if their home defense piece was the right one, will find this article interesting.

Thanks for the link. I take it for what it is.... data points. I know the most important thing is to put it where it counts. The best thing you can do is practice with what you carry, how you carry it.

Really awesome article. I agree with Beener. Gotta put it where it counts. Otherwise, I'm only stopping 4 out of 10 guys with a 9mm. I don't think that statistic holds with a headshot
