Great, just great

Best wishes Sammy....it's good to have the "inside track" at a medical facility.
Plenty of pudding and adult diapers...:smiley_coolpeace:
And spongebaths from the aides....

Good luck there. The same thing happened to my friend about 10 yrs ago and he turned out OK.
Hope it's not you bow shooting hand.
Frank

Glad to hear things are going okay. Since you are in good spirits, I will offer one piece of advice: Don't let your dinger hang out of that hospital gown. Might be embarrassing if your wife's coworkers saw it. As I recall, they keep the hospitals fairly cold. lmao

That reminds me of that seinfield episode.... shrinkage I was in the pool!!!!

I've received a short course from the infectious disease docs during this. Cats and dogs naturally have a bacteria in their mouths called pasteurella multocida, shots have no effect on it. The human immune system has trouble fighting this infection. Cat bites are especially troublesome because their teeth are like needles and its hard to clean the wound.

Sam,

Hope you are recovering well.

My daughter was bitten by a cat this year and she ended up in the hospital for 6 days. A co-worker was bitten also this year and was in for 5 days.

These cat bites are nasty things and are not to be taken lightly. In both cases they waited a couple of days to go the doctor thinking the swelling and redness would go away on it's own and it made it a longer process to take care off.

Glad to hear your doing better Sam. Hope you get to go home today. I didn't know cat bites were so dangerous. Thanks for the heads up.
